So here is another clue that predictions are dangerous...
I really thought that the ratings for the World Series would be a bomb. Afterall, I assumed, most people were watching the championship games because of the two cursed teams. Therefore, given the fact that the two teams were attracting most people to the watch the game -- the socks, either red or white -- got eliminated, my logical presumption was that it would also eliminate many of those viewers. Furthermore, I assume that most Yankee fans just assume that their team is going to (and winning) the series and therefore they don't really need to watch...
But the ratings from game one... up!
